Lea is a ceramic modular vase part of the Intersezioni vases collection, a collection composed of 5 stackable shapes, you can have a customize vase suitable for your interior design and your mood, choosing shapes and colors.

Lea vase can be individually settled or can be harmoniously combined with the other shapes to create a sculpture-like vase.

Material

Lea is made of stoneware porcelain which has the perfect characteristics that allow it to be extremely durable, but at the same time very lightweight.

Its lacquered matte finishing is scratch-proof, stain-proof, and water-resistant which gives it multi-purposes. Essential oils, water, and perfumes can be used. It is also dishwasher safe and heat resistant.

The exterior surface is lacquered with carefully created colors using a mixture of pigments, to obtain a matte finish which is minimal yet elegant taste.

The Intersezioni collection color palette was created influenced by the nature soothing colors of Umbria.

The vases from the Intersezioni collection are inspired by the female form with 5 stackable shapes Iris, Lea, Mia, Nina e Ofelia that can be harmoniously combined to create a sculpture-like vase. Having minimal and elegant shapes with a modular soul, that can become complex compositions according to your needs.

This collection is dedicated to women, vases shapes remember female silhouettes. They are also named by women: female names for single elements, female adjectives for compositions. The idea is to create a series of minimal shapes that can turn into complex compositions according to the user’s needs.

Lea is designed by Cristina Daminato, prototyped using 3D printing, and handmade by Mud is Mood through ceramic molding technique.
